Finding the right placement for your loved one can be a challenging and difficult process to go through. General

What is Assisted Living?

-Roses Assisted Living is a licensed facility that provides assistance to individuals who need a little extra help with Activities of Daily Living, such as bathing, toileting, dressing, etc.  We are licensed by the state of California to provide such care.

When can I visit my parent?

-Visiting hours are from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week.  Visitors are welcome to have meals with their parents if 1 hour notification is given prior to meal time.  Residents can be reached by phone from 8am-8pm on facility number or personal phone line.

Can my parent still see their regular doctor?

-Yes, your parent can keep their current medical doctors.  However, Roses Assisted Living does offer medical professionals that visit the home and most resident’s choose to work with these health care professionals.

Care

Do you have a doctor or nurse on staff?

-Roses Assisted Living is a non-medical community, however, we do have a in-home doctor that visits our facility regularly and we encourage our residents to use our in-home doctor services.

Can my parent stay at Roses if they go on Hospice?

-Yes, residents are able to remain at Roses Assisted Living if changes in health arise and Hospice services are available in-home.

Will someone take care of my parent during the nighttime hours?

-Yes, Roses Assisted Living has 24 hours of awake care to ensure safety and well-being if your parent needs assistance during the night.

How often will my parent receive a shower?

-Once a shower frequency and schedule has been established upon admission, the staff at Roses Assisted Living will maintain a shower schedule and stick to it, per the resident and family’s request.

How often will housekeeping be done?  How often do linens get changed?

-Housekeeping and linen changes will occur at a minimum of two times per week or as needed to maintain a clean and healthy environment.

Do you provide medication reorders?

-The staff at Roses Assisted Living will provide all medication reorders and will assist in administering all needed medications to your loved one.

Fees

Is there a long-term lease?

-No, lodging at Roses Assisted Living goes by a standard 30 day rental policy agreement.

Are there added expenses as quality of care increases?

-All basic services do not have extra fees.  Exceptions for added expenses include incontinence care and any 3rd party services your parent may need.

Are there extra fees for help with showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, etc?

-No, all care services are included in the rent, there are no additional fees to help with showering, toileting, etc.
